1. Do I pay for Wicker Clinic services in Sheffield?

The emergency contraception (morning after pill) , oral contraception (the pill), pharmacy first, and blood pressure checks are all NHS services and free of charge.  Covid and flu vaccinations are free to those eligible on the NHS but are also available privately. The travel health and period delay services are both private services.

2. Do I need an appointment?

If you need emergency contraception or the pharmacy first service, come to the pharmacy at any time during our opening hours .  If we are busy you may have to wait a short period until we are able to see you .  For the other services we offer appointments throughout the week and some at evenings and weekends.  Just go to wicker.co.uk/bookings to make your appointment

3. Who will I see?

Our friendly pharmacists are specially trained in offering the Wicker clinic services,  and can offer expert advice on whichever clinic service you choose.  All our pharmacists are employed by Wicker Pharmacy which has been open late in Sheffield every day since 1952.  Our staff continue the legacy of a caring service which the pharmacy has been known for over the last 75 years.


Wicker pharmacy is partly owned by an employee trust and now over 50% of it is owned by current or ex employees.

4. How will I get to you?

We are lucky to be on several major bus routes, within walking distance of a tram stop and also have car parks nearby.  For more information click here
